Hi,
SH98 was rebooted a short while ago due to SQL abuse, the server is back up now and should be operating normal. Please let us know if you are having any issues still.

We will have to reboot SH98 right now due to an issue with the nameserver. The server is up and operating fine, but about half of the sites are loading, while the other half are denying connection.

Not a good night for SH98... checking again on the same issue.
EDIT: Now fixed permanently.

It seems that after those issues over a week and a half ago, customized settings on the server reverted. phpsuexec was disabled.
We are enabling this again and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. Our monitoring system was still reporting back to us that phpsuexec was running, and it was obviously incorrect.

On Sunday, July 22, 2007 between 3:00 AM EST and 7:00 AM EST we will be performing a mail system conversion on the server which your website is hosted from. Incoming email messages will be received by the server during this conversion, however they will be stored in the mail queue and not delivered to your mailbox until the conversion is completed.
Incoming email will be received by the server, however will be delayed from reaching your mailbox until after the conversion is completed. You will still have the ability to send email (via SMTP) while the conversion is taking place. All other services on the server (web server, FTP server, etc) will also continue to function as they should. SH98 Maintenance - Upgrade to MySQL 5 and PHP 5
Monday night, May 5th we will be upgrading PHP and MySQL to version 5 on sh98.surpasshosting.com.
There will be some minimum downtime past 12am EST. |
