Question about hotlinks

I have two sites, different host, one is from here and other from different host,
Now i wanted to use a host links protection but I wanted my two sites can see it other. Meaning that i want my site A and use a link for site B, and site B can use a link for site A.
In both cpanal of two site, i went into hotlink protection and activie it
on a box Urls to allow access
For site A, i added website B in there (urls to allow access) and on site B, i added website A, but its turn out that both website can't see it other.
any ideas? Please help me out. Thanks

one more thing,
On Protected Extensions: jpeg,gif,bmp,png if i add wma, then i can't play it eventhough in my host. I did this test on my other host.
Can anyone please explain for me more about this. thanks

Greetings,
Now you have that site A only can use Images from site B
And site B only can use Images from site A
Add both sites in the protectin list

i.e
Site A
www.a.net
www.b.net

Site B
www.a.net
www.b.net

yeah, i did that, but still not working,
and when i use hot link protect then how come i can't play music too.

Gopher, you should try asking support these questions I think, it doesn't appear that anyone on here knows if what demontech suggested isn't working.

I'd have to see the content of the .htaccess to fully understand what's already in place and might be able to help you.
