Disk Space ?

Hi,

I have the Pro package, which allows me 10GB of disk space. When I look at the information on my CPanel, the "disk space available" and the "disk space used" numbers don't add up to 10GB. Why is this?

Thanks,
Jennifer

Greetings Jenniferlt

I think it is the glitch in Cpanel. In your cpanel choose the discspace icon and there you will se it correctly. Create a ticket at http://desk.surpasshosting.com and they will help you with the glitch.

Also realize that database space used also takes away from your 10 GB quota.

If it's really far out though, there is a glitch that requires quotas to be re-ran on your account, which support can do for you. More specific details would help us better evaluate the situation.

Log files take up space as well. I found that out the hard way on another host a while back.

Well ofcurse logfiles take space.
But only if you want to save them in your homedir.
You can still download raw accesslogs throu Cpanel.
