How often do you upgrade?

Your wonderful support team helped me out in figuring out a couple of small errors that popped up on a page suddenly, last week. Turns out there was a bug in the latest version of PHP (4.3.1), and it wasn't in my code.

That was a relief since I hadn't changed my code.

Anyway, I just checked the PHP website and the next version is out. I'm relatively new to your service, so I may be asking a question that has been asked a thousand times. If so, I apologize.

How often do you upgrade things like PHP or Perl? When could I expect the new PHP on my server?

I'm not rushing you, here. I'm just wondering so when I find out in the future that Apache has just added the "Press here and win a million bucks" feature, I know when Surpass Hosting will add that to all our toolboxes. Thanks!

Guess what Surpassers...

PHP has been upgraded to 4.3.2 on server
vega.surpasshosting.com

So if you are a brand new client (signed up within the past week and a half) you are on that server, it's the newest one.

Gotta hand it to ya! Upgraded on a weekend, no less! Thanks! Now my Portal page can give out random weather reports again.
