Same ones as your main shared account.

OK so addon domains can be have a seperate identity than the main site as long as you submit a ticket to have them update the second domain in your cpanel? Because right now mine doesn't show up on the domainname.com but does under domainname.mymainsite.com

Did you update the nameservers and, if you did, did you allow 24-48 hours for the DNS info to propagate? It can take a while. If you did all of the above, did you clear your cache, etc.?

You should not have to contact support for add-on domains to work as their own entity.

Talking sweet

thanks for all of the help...can't say anything bad about surpass!!! <3 you berry berry mooch!!!

I have one more question...i still have to wait the 24-48 hours...but in my ftp under the public html folder there's my new domain that i used as an add on plus 2 other folders because when adding them you're asked to put in:
New Domain Name: Username/directory/subdomain Name: Password:
so i put in the first box the domain name, the second box the generic username my friend and i would use and then our pw in the 3rd box....but now there are 2 folders with the username as the name of the folder. What are those for?

Again thanks for the quick responses you are all sooooo awesome!!!
