Add on domains and email?

I am a new user and I am not quite sure what an add on domain is. I do own 2 similar domains (.com and a .net) but I only use one. Is it safe to assume that with the add on domain feature I can use the other one too and have it set up to look like a totally separate domain?

I understand that I only get one cpanel but would the add on domain also have email capability? For example:
I own mydomain.com and mydomain.net. I sign up an account for mydomain.com and as a bonus I get to set up mydomain.net as a subdomain or add on. Now I know I get email like emailmydomain.com but would I also be able to have emailmydomain.net too? Or will I only have email accounts for the main account?

Yes, the addon domain would appear as another folder in your public html, and will look completely like it's own site if you want. For email and such, when you're setting up an email account, you will have a dropdown to choose the domain you want it at.

Wow. That is awesome. I am still in a state of shock over how good surpass is. It's almost like I am waiting to find out "the bad thing" but it just never comes. You guys are great. Prepare for the rest of my family and friends to sign up.

I think what you are wanting is a addon domain there. Are you on a shared or reseller account?

Yea you can have up to 10 addon domains with a shared account. If you have not had Surpass update that in your cPanel yet all you have to do is submit a request to support via ticket.
