Angry What is going on with Surpass lately??

Several strange things are happening with Surpass services lately and I am seriously considering to find another hosting provider.

Webmail is sometimes down and without access, the usual way of placing an order has been unavailable for months, or changed, and they send you to shared plans or reseller plans, when all I need is to place an order for what used to be the Standard Plan ($48USD/y).

I cannot find other option but the Power Plan (Shared Plans $65USD/y... more expensive) but I have spent more than two hours trying to place the order without success.

Either I am dumb or something really wrong is happening with all Surpass services, but I get to a point of the order where it asks for Email Account (why email?? instead of username...) and password in order to identify you as already having an Account.

I have two accounts, in fact. And I have tried entering emails and passwords for both but I keep on getting an error message telling that either my email address or password are not correct.. BUT THEY ARE!!!! And this is driving me insane because I urgently need to have this hosting set today!!!

I need to place an order TODAY... is there anyone who can tell me what to do? Should I seek for other hosting provider? Should I contact Support?

Hi,

For issues like this, yes you would need to contact the sales department at
https://desk.surpasshosting.com so that they can help you find out why the order form is not accepting your information.

I am not sure what you mean by "the usual way of placing an order has changed" unless you mean that we no longer use "my.surpasshosting.com" since we have a new billing system. You will not be able to log into my.surpasshosting.com because all customers are being migrated into the new system, so you would have to create a new account in the new system for now and not see your previous accounts for some time.

I get an error message trying to place an order

Thanks for your answer but I have never used my.surpasshosting.com for placing an order, I have always done it through www.surpasshosting.com and going to the ORDER button at the bottom menu of the page. There is where the different plans used to be listed, but it is been a while (months) since this is what it says:

"This page will include a listing of all products and plans with key highlights. At this time, please visit our product plan pages (shared section, reseller section, and so on) to place an order using the "Order Now" links. Thank you."

That listing is taking a long time to appear and as you can read above, one can only place an order through the product plan pages. There is where I have gone, but it would not accept my account information as valid (email and/or password), which I am certain that is completely correct.

Or to put it into a more simple manner. Growing pains. Surpass has had allot of growth this year. They are playing catchup and we are feeling it. I know that dose not help and I have felt it allot lately too but we can hope they will catch up and get back to the Super Surpass who surpasses our expectations again soon.

I am hoping for that big time. I miss it. I got spoiled with it from July 2005 - July 2006. The past 6 to 8 weeks has been tough for many and for some I thing have been feeling it for a little longer.

Sorry for the confusion there, but yes- you can only order plans by clicking on the particular button on the shared or reseller pages, they link directly to each plan.

You can also go here:
http://client.surpasshosting.com

(As the new system is https://client.surpasshosting.com/billing/)

If you order with a different email address, it should go through fine. I have done many tests with the ordering system since it was put online and have not came across a situation where I was not able to order at all.

Well, you have to know that a new system was in place just this year, so you'll need to order using a NEW client account, as the previous accounts were from the old system.

I think someone needs to put a big red highlight about that in the order page
