Lapsaj- interesting story.

I actually have a domain myself on that server and my mail suddenly was not checking. I looked into the server and noticed that the server has been hanging each day backing up your site actually, not sure if there are a lot of files or what, but I had to temporarily suspend the backup for your site.

If http://www.thewebregister.org/ is your site, I just decided to check it out.. I gave up waiting on it after 30-40 seconds. Nothing ever showed in the browser. Hmmm....

I'm not sure what's up. The problem I'm going through now is that the downtime has become too much of an issue with me, yet the customer service is good with Surpass. I've had so many people tell me my site isn't working which is pushing them right away, this isn't the first time it's happened!

I wanted to upgrade to a VPS but worried it might carry on like this.

Is your main site pretty big? I didn't check into the details, but when the server is doing your backup it takes up over 70% CPU for some reason, and other sites do not take that much.

No, I don't have any big sites hosted on this account. Got quite a few sites though.
