I'm not experiencing any DNS fault. However I'm having trouble connection to my ftp-account. It sais connected and after a while it laggs out.

I should add that my site went down for an hour yesterday. Did not submit a ticket for this because it resolved relatively quick.

Yeah, whatever it was it was really short.

I have problem with my FTP, too, but because they're relatively the same problems I had with my old host, I believe the problem is mine.

Try toggling your passive transfer setting in your FTP client.
