I'm sorry that I don't know my server's name, (I just signed up for service, and I did not see the name in my account information e-mail), but I am not able to log into CPanel. I type in my username and password, but it never stops loading and all I see is a white screen.

In case it will help, my domain for the account is terrieades.com (However, the domain has not propogated to the servers yet...I am trying to log in via the IP.)

Edit- I also cannot log on to FTP.

Have you pointed the domain to Surpass name servers yet? For your still showing at 2MHost.com IP 66.228.125.253

I'm having similar problems. Using the server IP address per email instructions I am mostly seeing stalls and never ending page loads for things like email address creation. Also having a devil of a time uploading files via FTP. Connection keeps being reset by the server and works only about half the time.

I have not changed nameservers yet because I need to make sure the content is in first, but this is getting rather annoying.

Not a good first day with Surpass, I fear...

It's a moot point now, since everything seems to be working, but, like RadioDoc, I was using the IP address, per e-mail instructions, to try and upload my site and get everything set up before I changed the domain settings, but I was having these problems.

It's one of the downsides of shared hosting, as your site's IP address is the same as for may others and the server is actually "virtual", meaning that the incoming URL determines where the request is sent. There isn't an easy way to view the site directly until the DNS info propagates unless you point your computer's DNS at the Surpass nameserver or make an entry for the domain in your computer's hosts file which will override an external DNS lookup. This is not something you should do unless you are familiar with configuring your NIC and/or editing a hosts file. Some hosts give you a temporary URL to use but not Surpass, unfortunately.

To see your site before changing Name Servers use...

http://66.7.201.40/~ACCOUNTNAME/

...just change ACCOUNTNAME to the account name in your welcome e-mail. Also don't forget the trailing "/" as that is important for this to work.
