Google Hosted Apps Setup

I have my server setout like this:
Server hosted on Surpass
Domain regged at 123reg.co.uk

i haven't so far been able to work out how to setup google hosted apps on my domain

i want to have the full mail.mydomain.com rather than the mail.google.com/mydomain that i currently have.

I think the domain name is parked as my primary server domain but i still have control throught 123-reg.co.uk

so anyone else setup like this or have any ideas?

thanks

Wherever you have your domain hosted, you need to set up a CNAME in your DNS that points mail.yourdomain.com to ghs.google.com , in addition, you have to reset your MX record to point to aspmx.l.google.com. , alt1.aspmx.l.google.com., alt2.aspmx.l.google.com.

I do this with my domain, so I know it works.

Good luck.

I believe that Google Apps has a tutorial on how to do that for 123reg.co.uk. At least they had when I set all my stuff up.
