Perhaps. Since the link on the main page brings us to that announcement here on Surmunity...but if Surmunity is having another down moment... everyone is still left in the dark....which is kind of... irritating. IMO

Surmunity is still up and down I think it is still database related. It has not made my job any easier today.. or yours. I am sorry about that.

I dunno, I just don't think every customer you have is a member of this forum and most have signed up but visit once in a blue moon. I think relying on customers to subscribe to the announcements isn't a good idea. But what do I know? I just answer phones all day.

Well you might not be, but I am. This has now been going on for almost twelve hours. What I find odd, is if this "brownout" or "blackout" is big, what caused it, because nothing has come across any news broadcast

I guess I strongly feel that a different communication system should have been in place when a problem is of this escalation.

Since it was network wide, not isolated to a single server. I know you guys are working hard and very busy...but I'm a big communication freak...so things like this peeve me.

That is due to the fact that it is a Data Center problem. It seems to me that their power backup strategy needs to be revamped to cover all that is in that data center including future growth.
