Do a tracert from the DOS prompt
tracert bryceeason.net/ Last line is the name of your server. At this moment it can't find your domain though. ![]()

Looks like mine was down from 10:15am - 11:15am CST or so according to emails from Siteuptime. Server was rebooted 4 hours ago.. seems to match the time the first outage was detected. Wonder if it was/is a Level 3 backbone interface issue as my tracert is taking a different path through Level 3 now as it's going through Chicago now instead of Dallas. Actually, running pingplotter, each trace is different through Level 3.. LOL.. once it went into Orlando, then back out to Washington, then back into Orlando.

Downtime?
Is there any more information available on the outages being experianced. The thread in the announcements said there would be an update "within the hour" but as far as I can see its been 4 hours since that post.
My e-mail did come back up at one point but the site didn't and both are now not working again, I also created a ticket at one point because I couldn't access the forums, but with mail down, and me intelligently forgetting my password for the help desk im now stuck. All im really looking for is an update on the situation, and im sure others are looking for the same thing, seeing as the downtime is now at about 8 hours. Incase it matters, I beleive im on the SH82 server. |
