Can you please file a ticket at the help desk? These forums are user-to-user support. https://desk.surpasshosting.com . They should be able to find the problem for you.

what is likely happening is there's a user or service abusing the server or messing up. By posting here we can't help fix anything like that. Submitting a ticket will help them to track down the problem user / service and fix it.

This server should be much better. Had to disable an abusive client overloading apache. I'll keep an eye on it

As DewKnight said, the forums are mostly for users to share simple fixes to common problems, but we don't have any access to the servers themselves. We might be able to help you change your default root directory for an FTP account, but we can't address a server load issue; the server admins have to do that stuff.
