not receiving emails
Hi
I just got an message from twitter " "Is your email address active? We've tried to send emails to 'info mydomain.com', but they are not getting delivered, possibly because your email address is no longer valid. Click here to update your email settings, or click here to try sending messages to your email address again."I send a testing e-mail using my gmail to the info mydomain.com and it works, but why twitter and other forums that i sign up with can't send it to my email? |

Is it just Twitter that's not working?
My friend (who is on my server) said she had the same problem. She got emails from me but can't get them from Twitter. She thinks she's missing a few others but right now Twitter seems to be the booger. For the record, a few days ago I wasn't getting any emails from Twitter, and it goes to my Comcast email. PS. Did you get that as a DM? Sounds kind of weird.

I was actually going to post about this. I saw it yesterday, and did notice that I don't recall getting any notifications from Twitter recently. I do have SpamAssassin enabled, and today I added *
twitter.com to my whitelist, but I haven't logged in again to see if the message came back...

Well I guess I spoke too soon. Right after I posted this I got an email saying someone followed me on Twitter. So either me clicking that button saying that to try sending the emails again or me adding the address to my whitelist caused them to start working again...

Last I checked wave invitations were not instantaneous and they took a few hours if not a few days for them to 'lick stamps'
. Is it just mails from twitter and google? Not sure of a correlation here. Did you try adding to your spam assassin allow list like fury did above?

I saw this same notice a few days ago when I logged in to Twitter (I don't log in to the web version often, I nearly always use UberTwitter on my BlackBerry). I clicked the "try sending the emails again" link, but I haven't noticed them start flowing in again yet.
It seems to be a Twitter issue, as I believe I have been receiving all other emails just fine...

I have started seeing this issue with Facebook as well. I'm not sure if some of the email are being bounced or what, but when I click the link to reconfirm my current address on Facebook and I get the confirmation email several seconds later, it seems fine.
This first happened with Facebook a few days ago and again today. Is it something with the way the track delivery receipts or something?
