Connecting problem

I have been experiencing a long wait when files are being uploaded. It stays on Waiting for server.... for a few minutes before the files get uploaded. This is happening with Dreamweaver, Filezilla and Cyberduck. Am I the only one that this is happening too if so what do I need to do to speed up the process?

Could you post a ping and/or trace route?

This can help in determining if the problem is with your system or somewhere in your route to the server.

Maybe is the program settings.

You could try opening a ticket with the helpdesk and ask them to look into the specific service that you are using to upload, such as FTP. Or just have them check the resource utilization. Does it seem to be slow all the time? Or just during certain times of the day?

It has not been at any specific time so its pretty random and this just started happening recently. I am going to give it a couple more days and see what happens. If it does not get better I am opening a ticket.

What specifically are you uploading and to where? As in, are you using FTP? cPanel uploader? PHP script?

If it is something random that we need to "catch" maybe it's best to hop in a live chat after you opened the ticket so we can check it immediately while it's going on so we can catch it then
