Slow server?

hello,
I have a weird problem,

I am setting up a site for a client of mine on
www.tuinaanlxx-degroeneoaxx.xx - which works fine.

but we are testing it online at xxxx
and that one is really slow. Could it be caused by Wordpress?

There was a Database issue and a few downtimes as well for the entire domain

Apparently "slow server" is an ongoing problem with new sites. You can create a support ticket and you will get a quick response but it won't help much. I have had this problem with my last three sites. Just the same these guys are great and once settled your site will be great. It seems to take a few days for your site to break in. I know this sounds silly but it is what it is.

I clicked on your link when you first posted, but I didn't have any time to respond. Clicking now it is much faster, but still a bit slow.

There are a thousand different reasons that your website can be slow. If you're making sql queries before the page loads, the server may have been loaded and caused the query to take a while. You can do some troubleshooting by commenting out certain items on the page to try to track down the issue.

Like I said, it could be a number of things causing the issue. Slow server, DNS propagation, internet issues, etc.

I had the same problem with slow WP sites until I had support move my whole account to a new server.

Hi there,
today I got a call from the client, telling me he and his brother (2computers) can't see the actual site, but still just the holding page (which I deleted days ago)

I checked here, on 2 laptop, all browsers, and on a cellphone, and it works here.
