Question Tagboards?

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone might know about tagboards and if they are allowed? The chat thing got me to think I should ask first!
Thanks...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a tagboard is just like...well, a threaded message board right? Sort of like this:

http://mimiclives.com/forum/forum.php

I can't see a difference between that and a normal message board, so I can't really see a problem with using one.

edit: nevermind, i see what tagboards are now. the reason i was confused about them is because i've seen these types of boards listed as tagboards before. the ones i've seen in my search for tagboards look like shoutboxes

Yeah, that is why I am confused too. In one way they are similar to a messageboard, but some refer to them as a type of chat and I just wanted to make sure before I did anything, still in limbo
Thanks for the response djsckizo.

Any one know????

I think tagboards are okay, as long as you don't have guests abusing it. If you have guests sitting there using it as a chat room, then that's a problem (I've seen it happen, they sit there refreshing, having a conversation) but if they use it as supposed to, to leave a "tag" then it should be fine.

Thanks Rai,
I really appreciate the answer, didn't want to Zorro myself or anyone else.
Got it! I was afraid it would be looked at like a chat script and don't need any extra issues right now.
Thanks again,
Have a great day
