ok I have tried and tested Integra Mod now and have found it didn't have enough themes available really, it certainly didn't have anything that suited the look I wanted, and I found it quite difficult to try and modify it myself, so I have now moved on to using XMB 1.9.1 Nexus which I have to say is easier to use than Integra Mod!
It was a piece of cake to install (even for moi ) and, well, to modify it was an absolute breeze! You can create your own graphics for it and it tells you simply how to change them from the admin panel. It looks clean, smart and professional. It took me 3 1/2 hours from download to completion and it looks exactly how I wanted it to! I haven't had any experience of running it yet as it hasn't been advertised to the people who will be using it, but I would give it 10/10 so far.The site isn't a particularly interesting one for you lot but it is a personal project of mine so I can learn more about webdesign etc. I'm pleased with it so far. you can view the forum I have created using XMB 1.9.1 Nexus here thanks again for all your help! hopefully this thread will be useful to other newbies in the future! ![]() Last edited by SquirrelBean; March 23rd, 2005 at 9:32 AM.. |

Sorry to hear you stopped using IM...Just FYI there are a bunch of new themes due out as soon as version 1.3.3 comes out...they are waiting to release them so they can be tested...
If you know basic html and how to copy & paste php code you can port any theme you want that is available for phpBB...You just have to put all the mod codes in and adjust any images |

Another free forum http://www.simplemachines.org/ Simple Machines Forum and it continues to grow, easy setup, package manager to add MODS, much more.
Thread not too old for posting, I think. |
