BJ, I am afraid you are going to catch up to my post count one day.

In other news, I have been looking into the issue you sent to abuse, so no worries.

My main domain does have a link on the home page to my subdomain but I haven't noticed it getting any robot/spider visitors. I do see that Googlebot did hit it last night so maybe things are working.

A "site:" search on Google for my subdomain only shows the home page and is dated two days ago which is right before I put the robots.txt file in the root on my main domain to keep it from being indexed as part of my main domain. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens.

Gracias, Kayla!

I figured out the problem, and notified the party of the fact that he'd been WORMED.

Spiders and bots don't crawl DIRECTORIES in that sense at all. They crawl and follow LINKS.

I thought that bots only crawled links but a search of google using site:mydomain.com showed pages that I originally thought were my sub and it shouldn't be seeing. I think they actually are leftovers from my old site before I moved to Surpass. I had the same named directory there as my subdomain now is named and it did have similar contents. That must be what is going on.

Thanks Bigjohn for the info
