Changing Namesevers- Questions

I am changing nameservers and have a few questions:

How Long will it take exactly?

Once it's up will I get my new FTP info?

What will it look like when it in in the middle of switching?

Right now I get Can Not Be Found and it goes to an MSN search, and its the process of switching. Thanks to anyone who can answer these questions. Thanks again!

it can take anywhere between 24-72 hours for the DNS to propagate all over the world.
you probably already receieved the FTP info. it's IP address of your server.
what's your domain name and server? we can probably help out a lot more with what's going on if we had that information.

so you've already received your welcome email from surpass giving you the proper nameservers?
if you did, then it could take anywhere between 24-72 hours for the new nameservers to propagate all over the world.
in your welcome email, it will give you all the information for logging into the site with FTP. the site doesn't need to propagate in order for you to connect to it through FTP because you can use the IP address.

Okay, thanks. Another question, I got this thing about going to the cpanel and creating a new account. It seems a little confusing, do I have to do that? Or only for a new account (i.e. like a hostee)

that's for a hostee... with that question i guess you've signed up for a reseller account. congrats!
your account has it's own space and bandwidth to use up and doesn't count towards your total account usage, that's why you don't have to create an account for your main account.
