I wasn't sure where to put this, so please move to where it belongs. Thanks.

I have a plan now on Fresh with an addon domain for the wife. She wants to use her site to sell items for dogs. Am I/she able to do this, or should she get her own plan and if so, what plan should she get??

Yeah, it would be just like any other regular plan on installing SSL. Her domain.tld would be secure and yours.com would not be, even with having the same ip.
