It's not really a spam thing.. its just 1 user invite their mates to the site. I'm not inviting no one, peopel invite people ;0 thanks anyway

It seems as if some people have had a sort of knee-jerk reaction to the "lot's of email" idea. I hate spam like everyone else, but there are some legit reasons that a ton of email would be sent. If you run a large community, a community newsletter certainly wouldn't be spam in my book. This is, of course, assuming that the members of the community consented to recieve this newsletter (it should be disclosed at registration, IMHO).
That said, I'm not big on mail systems, and seriously wonder if lots of e-mail would require some Pepto-Bismol to remedy. ![]() |
