In my case I think it was the fact that my card had expired. We've since been issued new cards with the the same CC#, but different codes on the back and obviously, different exp. dates, so maybe that was my problem. My card expired in February, though. LOL

Yeah I had a similar issue with 2checkout. There should be a link in the email to edit that info, so you should be fine, especially if you already contacted Billing so they're aware of the situation.
2checkout seems to be increasingly having problems...I'd switch to Paypal, but after they went and charged me 4 times for an order I never received, I kind of don't trust them. |

PayPal charged you or the merchant did?

Paypal charged me via the merchant. Actually the story still annoys me. I bought a really expensive bouquet of flowers for my father for Father's Day and it was guaranteed to arrive before Father's Day. That next Monday it still wasn't around and when I called the merchant, they promptly sent out a refund....Paypal however screwed up and charged me again for the purchase. So I called them and in the process of trying to refund me, charged me two more times.
I can't even remember if I ever got my money back completely. I know I had to go to my bank and block Paypal from my account, though. (And now I can't use Paypal until I "certify" my account, or rather that I'm me, I guess...i.e. send them copies of my SSN and birth certificate - which I am in no way ever giving out that stuff on the 'net, I don't care how secure the site might be.) |
