Some help needed

I have a few questions

1. How would I set up an index.html page?
2. I can't access my FTP I'm using filezilla as my client. The domain I used was ftp.jessekam.com and I put my username and password in but it still gives me a bad password thing
3. How do I install phpbb with fantastico?
Thank you for your help and support.

Thank you for your help and support.
1) You can still upload files the file manager in cPanel.

2) Try using the IP address of the server in place of the domain, and see if that fixes the problem. If that doesn't work confirm you are able to log into cPanel, because its likely if you can't log into FTP because of a bad password, then you can't log into cPanel either.

3) I have only ever installed phpbb with fantastico, and it was just a straight forward following the instructions of fantistico in cPanel. There have been other people ask this question before in the forums you could try searching

Hope that helps,

1. I can use FTP now
2. Can you give me an example of what to put in the "Install in directory" box?
I want it to be put in /forum folder that I didn't create yet.
3. If I upload a picture with FTP to the default directory what would the web address be to send to my friend? Would it be "http://www.jessekam.com/pic.jpeg" ? Thank you.

1. Yay.
2. /forum if you want it to be www.jessekam.com/forum
3. You need to upload it to /www in order for it to be on your site. Anything that goes in /www will be at http://www.jessekam.com/whateverfileyouuploaded

Same difference.
/www is just a symlink for /public_html

I keep getting this message after I created the board?

Please ensure both the install/ and contrib/ directories are deleted

Do I need to go to the phpbb site and download the installation package and upload it to a folder named forum.php?
