Exclamation Quick Question

I have already purchased the bronze reseller and I would like to upgrade but I have a question first.

Would I be able to upgrade to a dedicated server? If so here is my question.

I would like to get this server:
Intel Celeron 1.8 Ghz 400Mhz Bus
Memory: 512MB DDR System Memory
Storage: Dual 80GB Hard Drive w/Backups
Transfer: 1,200 GB per month
IP Addresses: 4 :: Free Fantastico Deluxe
$00.00 Setup Fee $105.00 Monthly
$99.00 Setup Fee $95.00 Monthly
$150.00 Setup Fee $85.00 Monthly

Does that mean I get 160 GB of Disc Space and 1200 GB of Transfer?

Sure, you can upgrade. You'll want WHM and cPanel on the dedicated box too; I'm not sure if that's an extra charge or what. Might wanna email salessurpasshosting.com

As for bandwidth - yes, 1200GB transfer. And dual 80G HD. The latter HD is there for backup, but I'm sure you can elect to use it as a storage drive instead.

Yeah, I was planning on buying the cPanel/WHM, my question was, does that mean I get 160 GB of Disc Space?

Sure, but you don't get a big 160GB chunk. There are two drives - two 80GB drives. 80+80 = 160. (although this does decrease when you're talking about hard disks, but you should know how hard disk space measurements go)

Surpass has highly recommended that if you opt for a dual drive, you use it as it is intended as a backup system.

But you can opt out of said backup system; you don't have to do it.

Correct-o?

I'd imagine that the second drive could be set up as a additional storage, but looking at it from the other side of the river, would it not suck to lose that 160 gigs of stuff you coulda lost? If you are dilligent at keeping your own backups up to date, thats another way to go as well I guess.
