not how I wanted to start out...
Hello everyone.
This afternoon I signed up for an OC5 account for myself and another one for the wife. About 5 hours ago I received my welcome email with all the info in it that I needed. The wife just got hers about 15 minutes ago. On both emails, the passwords used to get into the Cpanel are wrong. The temp url that was given doesn't work either. I can't get into the account with ftp. It's as if all that happened was i gave surpass my money and they gave me nothing in return. I submitted a ticket to support already. They got back to me about my account and said that they were transfering it over to sales. I'm guessing that the same thing is happening with the wifes as i didn't look at her email again yet. What I'm wondering is, is this a sign of things to come or not?? Server is SH71 SH71 (72.29.76.125) : Shared Marden |

Don't get discouraged just yet - this isn't normal. The person setting up your account may have made a mistake. It happens.
Wait for sales to get back to you... it should not take too long.

seems that the account info was sent out without the account being set up.

That thread you just pointed out seems to have only been started yesterday, so I wouldn't worry about it. It may be a brand new server.
But yes, this isn't normal. Sales should get back to you about this situation. Edit: It also looks like through all of those posts, that it was only one error that has been corrected (faulty hard drive that was replaced) and posted about a few times. I'm assuming that sales ( although I never recieved an email from them ) has this sorted out and now everything is working. Just waiting for the dns to take hold on the wifes account and I'll be a happy camper.

Yes, earlier it was secretly taken care of once you posted here. We apologize that our system was acting up. Due to your post and a post from another user, we found out that about 5 accounts did not install correctly, while the others were installed fine, so we have looked into this issue. |

I'm guessing that the other customer was myself using the wifes email account. I set her up with an account also and the same thing happened, recieved the info but the account wasn't active. I submitted a ticket in her name also
