promotional renewal

hi..last year i bought a standard hosting plan and got a second free one as a promotional offer..just recently my hosting auto-renewed itself and i was wondering if my free one did as well too (the domain expired and i don't have the cpanel log in address to check) if so, if they charged for a standard plan or just free...

i would also like to turn off my auto-renewal because i don't want to own a webpage anymore...how should i do this?

Looks like you did the same things as me, except mine goes through this tomorrow.

Anyhow, if you happen to know what server it is, you can just simple type in the server name (*.surpasshosting.com:2082) or the IP (***.***.***.***:2082) and simply login with the old information. I have no idea if the free account is renewed with it in all honesty. I never actually claimed my free account as I didn't feel I needed it (and quite frankly, still don't.)

To cancel the auto-renewal, you'll have to cancel the subscription through your choice of payment. I have a weird feeling you used PayPal, in that case, just login to PayPal and find the subscription and cancel it.

The free account remains alive as long as the paid account does. As for canceling the auto-renewal, follow Haugland's advice.

The second (free) account doesn't have the option to auto-renew, it will only renew if the first (paid) account is renewed.

You must pay each time the account is renewed.
