Oh god you're all crazy.

So you can contact a service provider and get them to shut down a client if they stole your content? Mmmmm............

I was just reading something on the government website regarding copyrights (note, this may only apply to Canadians) and it stated that when you create something you're automatically getting a copyright for it (there are some exceptions, like ideas, names, catch phrases, etc...). The whole purpose to registering a copyright is for proof when you go to court (to prevent your opponent from saying you don't own a copyright).

Cats, basically you can, however they may ask for proof of copyright before they actually force an account closure.

Oh, and my source; http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/sc_mrksv/c...aq_cp-e.html#1
