FTP connection issue

I can't connect via FTP to my account (http://www.picstopaintings.com) the error it gives me is: "Error: Could not retrieve directory listing" I am using FileZilla 2.2.14b. When I use the control panel to manually upload files via the file manager those don't seem to register either.

With FileZilla have you gone the route of using the IP instead of the URL for the address? That works better and every time for me. Using the URL did not connect every time for me for some reason.

I've tried both the IP and the regular ftp site. Neither work.

Hello? The FTP is not working yet

I use the same version of Filezilla and was getting the same error message. Try this if you will.

1. You can use either your IP address or your ftp.yourdomain.com address.
2. Make sure your username to log in is username

domain.com.
3. Click the Advanced tab and make sure you choose the Use Passive Mode option.
4. Save, connect, and see if that helped.

I know it has been a while since I have posted, but when I enter either

http://picstopaintings.tld/cpanel or http://picstopaintings.tld/2082

as directed, it does not work. Could you please help me in the matter?
