Hi,
yesterday i setup a new domain at www.cubixstudio.com from SurpassDomains i'm not familiar with the nameserver/DNS setup, so i am wondering if i setup everything correctly. These are steps i've done: 1. login to surpassdomain scrshot: 2. Select "Change Nameservers" menu and change 2 record to: ns895.dizinc.com 72.29.83.13 ns896.dizinc.com 72.29.83.14 scrshot: right now i am not able to access my new site from www.cubixstudio.com, but it's accessible using: http://72.29.83.12/~cubixst/ please help me to setup correctly ![]() thanks, |

http://www.cubixstudio.com & http://72.29.83.12/~cubixst
Both work for me here, give the same results. It could be that at the time you tested it, that your dns cache still had to be updated or something. But they're both working here. |

Z'ohki,
thanks for helping me testing my new site , everytime i try to access my site using www.cubixstudio.com it will give me "www.cubixstudio.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again" i also try to run ping and it gave me this error: "Ping request could not find host www.cubixstudio.com. Please check the name and try again." really weird, maybe i should wait until tomorrow for the DNS to refresh. Or is there any workaround for this ?? (to refresh DNS cache manually) ?? thanks |

No problem
![]() Then your DNS has still to refresh, I do get a ping result. Also it resolves to '72.29.83.12', so it has the right settings. You can try using a proxy I think to test your site from there on out, and it could take 2-3 days to refresh the DNS cache. Sometimes maybe longer. |
