Windows 2003 Dedicated: Presale questions

Hi,

I have some questions about the windows 2003 dedicated servers.
I hope someone can respond very quickly

1) Can MS SQL databases be supported. What is the extra cost?
2) What can be additionally installed? For example: file upload dll, dll to identify visitors with electronique ID card (in Belgium, this is the new identity card) and other
3) Are there any standard ASP extensions supported? If so: which one
4) Is MS Exchange supported, if so, what's the additional cost for this
5) Is there webmail support? Which software is used? (at linux there are several)
6) ASP.NET, is that supported standard on windows 2003 hosts?
7 ) Does the email come with viruscheck and spam check
8) Is java support possible
9) Are there any other extra features? Cause there are not many details given regarding Windows 2003 servers

You list several different applications - SQL, Exchange = those will cost you whatever the software licence is (typically several hundred $ per server or x$ per user).

Webmail would be OWA if you use exchange server - outlook web access.

ASP is supported natively by IIS.

Do you know about win2003 server? If you do, you know what you need. YOU pay for any software that needs to go on it beyond the server OS itself...

I know that ASP is natively by IIS, but I was wondering about ASP.NET and other languages as java...
Also, I know that ms sql would cost some extra money, but we already have a license, so I was wondering if that one could be used, or how this is handled

Because at the work, we run a windows 2003 server ourselve, we know that. But saying that every software on it will cost more is not true...

Anyway, I hope I can have some clear answers soon, with some prices

Kayla or Eman will have to get with you re: prices, but what you have to know is that whatever the "additional software" cost you at your job, that's likely what it will cost you at Surpass.
