2 active accounts, one site

Hey,

I tried to get some help from support, but they haven't gotten back to me. I have 2 active accounts for one site right now. I wanted to take the old one and transfer it to the new reseller account.

If I cancel the old one, will it kill the new one too? Is this something surpass has to do or can I just do it?

I'm new around here and don't know how everything is done by them so just to be safe make a backup if your whole site you can this from your cpanel just click on Backup then click on Generate/Download a Full Backup.

I'd love to, however I don't have access to my cPanel from work. For some reason our server here won't allow it.

What the site says to do is:
Quote:
If you are upgrading to RESELLER from Shared, you will need to order the reseller plan on our website. We will transfer your files for you and cancel your previous account. Please purchase the reseller plan on our website and then email our sales department with your domain name to finalize the move.
From: https://www.surpasshosting.com/upgrade.php

So you don't need to log into your cpanel just fill out that form and submit it they will do all that for you.

that's a fantastic theory. That's what I did the first time, they just didn't cancel the original one so I"m still paying for that one and the new one.

Ah, seems like they made a mistake just email sales and let them know. I hope they give you your money back for the time you paid for your old account. Also wait a while supprt can be a little slow at this time of day...

I put it in yesterday. They said they were forwarding it to billing. That's the last I heard.
