just think of shoutcast like IRC or something... if a program needs to be run on the server end of things... you need your own box.

I'm 17. Hook me up, fool!

Hey, go start your own "Teen-Mandy Fan Club" thread or something... I'd check it now and again... :-P

Anyhow, I can definitely say that you are all correct. I guess the SHOUTcast radio/stream for http://OrganizedHardcore.Org/ will have to stay at a max of 3 listeners for now...

Or you can cut the quality in half and double the listner base, or get your friends to set up their computers as mirrors of the server and build up that way....

I don't really want to cut the quality; with no listener base, it's not much of a consideration yet. We'll see. I'm just experimenting and exploring possibilties right now. The main objective is to contract some gigs, so at least I am open to the SHOUTcast audience to some extent. I haven't even updated the main web-site yet..

Now that I think about it... having Suradio wouldnt be a bad idea :P

Users could apply for DJing positions and so on... it could be neat.

I considered it actually. Was thinking about it last night. I'm going to turn Sidebreak into an online radio station, possibly with Live365.
