image files not showing up at new site
I just got a hosting account set up for a website ( http://badbuttons.com ) and although the links appear to be correct, the image files are not showing up for me. The HTML files are there, I can get into the root folder for images and see all the file names. When I try to access a file that way, I get a 403 Forbidden message that says "You don't have permission to access /images/filename.jpg on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request."
I've cleared out my cache and tried to load the site in different browsers. Is this normal for recently activated sites? I can't see a logical reason why I can access html files but not image files. Is there something obvious I'm overlooking? |

i see the site fine. Your political bias does show, though... you might have better luck if you had buttons for "both sides" of the issues.

I hope it shows. I'm not in the habit of catering to people who oppose human rights. I do just fine -- unless you were implying that my tech troubles are somehow caused by vindictive Republicans?
