Probably a stupid question
....but how do I link to files on my ftp site? I'm pretty novice to this, but I thought that stuff in the www directory were exposed to the world. SO if I had an images directory on the www directory I could link to it with an address like:
http://72.29.78.93/images/MyImage.jpg But that doesn't seem to work at all. Help. Confused. |

You should be using your domain. Upload your files to the public_html folder, link to them like: http://yourdomain.com/images/MyImage.jpg

You really should be using a domain name, you had to include one when you registered. It's really against Surpass AUP to use the servers for file storage.
