I sorry if these are asked and answered, but...
- does the add-on domain have its own cpanel or is it controlled by the primary domain? - can you setup e-mail accounts for the add-on domain (testing addon.com) How many e-mail accounts, forwarders, etc.. can the add-on domain have?- I have a second domain with a different host and I think I want to move it here as an add-on. Currently, there is only an 'under construction' page on the site. However. there are a couple of e-mail accounts. Will I be able to easily move those e-mail accounts and maintain the old e-mails seen in neomail? - A friend is developing a site for the add-on domain. If it uses frontpage extensions or some other complicated thing, will it be difficult to install as an add-on domain? Thanks in advance. |

Never be sorry about asking questions, the sorry people are the people who never ask.
Nope, no cPanel - you'd need to have a reseller plan for that kind of stuff. Yes, you can have emails for the domain. Uhm, I don't know about that one, possibly support could help you out with that.. Nope, you can install the extensions on the addon, though I do believe you'd have to install them on your main domain first...but I can't be certain of this I don't use FP or FP extensions. |

Moving the emails would be one of those tricky things. You'd have to move the mail database files over as well, and I'm not totally sure where those are hidden at.

Hmm, a reseller account. I had not really considered that. I think it's a good idea. I will look into to that. Maybe some friends that have sites will trust me enough to host them in order to defray the extra costs.
Thanks. |

New, related question...
With the OC10 plan, it lists 'N/A' for add-on domains. Does that mean you can't do add-on domains with the OC-10 plan? I was planning on using an add-on domain until ceo suggested a reseller plan. So, does it matter? Can I offer add-on domains to my 'customers'? |

Reseller plans have n/a for addon domains because you can host unlimited domains via WHM. I don't remember (as it's been awhile since I've had a reseller plan) if you can set up addon domains in your cpanel...but I'd imagine you can - and if not you can just park a domain into a subdomain in WHM, which is essentially the same thing.
