My account is suspended and I have no outstanding bill
This is the message I get when I try to access my site (peoriapundit.com):
"This Account Has Been Suspended Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible." I have received no bill, and when I log into my account, I am told that I have *no outstanding bill for service.* Will you please explain to me what has happened? What is going on? This follows three straight days of intermittent site outages. My site has been down since 8:30 this morning (three hours ago) and I need it back up ASAP. I have submitted two different trouble tickets and have received NO REPLY. I will be happy to pay a bill -- if I have one -- and if not, I want to know what the problem is. |

When your account is suspended, that is the default page that displays. This may not be a problem with your bill, but may be a problem that your site was causing, maybe an exploited or buggy script. You should try to keep your communications with support about this in one ticket, that way nothing is confused between tickets.. Your ticket should be forwarded to the suspensions department, and they will work with you to solve the problem.

Please remember that these are user-to-user support forums. I am not staff, as is the same with most of the people on the forums. Occasionally admins do visit, but your best bet is to keep in contact with the help desk.

The suspended accounts department is not just sitting there. There may be accounts in front of yours that have been suspended. They must research the problems that these accounts have, see what may have caused the problem, and how to fix it.

You need to understand that when your account is suspended, they have to look at and investigate the circumstances surrounding it, so they can explain to you what the problem was and why it was suspended. They must also determine if your site can be opened again. There aren't as many people in the Abuse department as there are in the rest of the tech support area. It is usually not a 5 or 6 hour process, and it needs to be delt with in the ticket area. That is where your answers will come from.

No. What YOU need to undestand if that they've told me what I need to do to fix the problem, but they won't give me access to my account, even via FTP, to fix the problem. And they will not fix the problem themselves. My site has been down for 8 1/2 hours. |
