CPanel showing odd stuff, and "broken" DNS server??
Here's the trouble I'm having with my OTHER site, my personal website.
I CAN log into CPanel with it (by IP address only, maybe namservers haven't updated quite yet?), but when I do, I see all kinds of weird crap, considering that I paid for the OC5 plan. I only see an option for mail, nothing about scripts or Fantastico, or any other snazzy stuff. And it also says I only have 56 MB left and I've used 143 MB??? I don't get it. It says I'm on "Hosting Package 2". I wish I could attach a screenshot of what I'm seeing, but now that I have no webspace I can't. I hope support gets me straightened out soon...

You can upload the screenshot to the forum.
Contact support and they can straighten CPanel out for you. Sounds like a theme problem.

Heh, yeah definetly missing some stuff. Support can fix that. I read that you said your sites were moved here? That's probably got something to do with the problem, and you may see other things pop up. Support can fix them. Moving sites tends to have it's weird little quirks.

It's been hours and my site still doesn't work.
The nameservers were updated this morning. I can log in to CPanel via http://www.snakeyez.us/cpanel I can log in to webmail via http://www.snakeyez.us/webmail. However, my site will not work by going to http://www.snakeyez.us The only way it will work is either by IP address ( http://72.29.92.31/~snakeye/ ) or http://www.snakeyez.us/~snakeye/ and that isn't proper. I can get to site fine. Your site is showing the default cPanel page.
"There is no website configured at this address. You are seeing this page because there is nothing configured for the site you have requested. If you think you are seeing this page in error, please contact the site administrator or datacenter responsible for this site." If there is any file or index in public_html, delete them and upload your files. |
