Hi,
I hope someone can help! I have had my site for a couple of years and it seems to have disappeared. I know that my domain expires around this time of year and i have an automatic payment set up to renew it, which has actually just been paid... so there is no problem there... however, my site (nookandwillow.com) seems to have turned into some kind of search engine! I have tried to email surpass and have a ticket number, but no one seems to be getting back to me. I have checked and the domain is still registered to me, but i cannot access my site, or webmail, cpanel etc. It is saying that the domain status is "locked". Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice would be really helpful! Thanks a million! Nina |

Do you still have your SurpassDomains.com username/password so that you can renew the domain? If you did renew it already you need to change your DNS back since when it expired, it went to the default nameservers (which show a generic page with searches). |

What you'll need to do is login and update the DNS servers. A whois lookup shows your DNS servers as:
DNS1.NAME-SERVICES.COM DNS2.NAME-SERVICES.COM You'll want to change those to the correct ones provided by Surpass. Unfortunately I don't know what server you're on, so I can't do the check. |

Alrighty, it seems that you're using Surpass Domains as your registrar.
Do you have the login for: http://www.surpassdomains.com/ ? If not, it will be a step for you to get it back. If you do, you'll want to manage your domains. Choose the domain that it having this problem, then unlock it. You'll have to unlock so that you can modify it. Next, you want to change the nameservers to what David has provided in his post. Once you've saved that, you'll lock the domain. After that it's a short waiting period until you're back in business. |

There have been some changes since then, so the DNS that David wrote are the correct ones now for the server you are on. ![]() (David, QRSL is my abb. for this) |
