not sure if your issue has been resolved or not. So I'll throw in another thought.
With a windows machine you can flush your own personl DNS cache, using a DOS based command, now I'm no MAC guru, so i'm not sure if you can perform that same operation, but maybe if you do a google search for something like that for a MAC, it might help. - edit - hmmm seems you can flush your own cache with the command Mac: Fire up Terminal (Utilities>Terminal) and execute the command --> lookupd -flushcache
