Unhappy Okay, I'm dying...can't get my site to work

Okay.

First off...I switched the name servers last night at surpassdomains.com.

Now..my website still won't work.

When I type in my URL, it does not work...

And, how on earth do I get my server working through Dreamweaver..YEAH YEAH for all you who hate it...hehe.

Like when you do "Manage sites" etc. What do I type in and click on through Dreamweaver...

If someone could pleaseeeeeee help!! I need total 411 on this..THANKS

I use Dreamweaver.

you can use the ip address instead of the domain name to FTP with

Also, what is your domain name? Propigation takes up to 72 hours, so it's probably just that. If you post your url, we can keep checking to tell you when we can see it.

What name servers did you use? I'm coming up with ns100 and ns101.

And which version of Dreamweaver are you using?

edit: also, what server are you on, or what is the ip address?

Those are the correct nameservers for sh93, which is the server that the ip you posted goes to. I'm guessing it's just propigration issues, which should be worked out by tomorrow usually (for most people atleast). The ns100 and 101 may be the default nameservers that it points to when you get your domain. I'm not sure about that.

As for the dreamweaver 404 error...what kind of page are you making? The preview option in dreamweaver renders the pages on your machine, not on the server...that way you can see it before it hits the web.

Well my site is done. It's just a matter of uploading it onto the server and onto jennfive.com

And that's hwat I'm having issues with...although dreamweaver was able to connect to my server, I remember when I was testing the URL, it said something about the prefix..can';t remember the message...told me to check something.

I use dreamweaver all the time at school working on their server etc. but I just can't work it....GRRR
