Hi all, I am glad to be part of one of the best hosting companies around! I went through hell and back with a company called astrahosting.com.
And now i have a few questions.... I just enabled FP extentions, how long do they take to work? I would like two domain names on my new power account, but displaying the same website, how do I do that? (details are helpful) I need to copy a data base (i have a phpbb on another hosting account with an evil company, and need to transfer it to my new surpass acount) how do I do that? I was able to download the data base with in phpbb, as well as in My php Admin, it appears to be a text file though. If this is in fact the database back up, how do I get it on to my Surpass account? I need the forum to be the same (i.e. same boards, users and permissions) Details again are really great. Also Surpass guys, do you have MSN messanger? :bananadance: :bananadance: :bananadance: :bananadance: Gotta love that dancing banana eh? Thanks :-) |

:welcome:
Someone else has moved here from there in past week. Guess we're all finding out what companies are the ones to stick with. :surpass: FP extensions should work immediately. We can install them again from the backend if need be. That would be a parked domain, it would be best to ask support to do that. An "add on domain" wouldn't exactly be the thing for that. We can just point domain.com to youraccountnow.com from.. the famous backend. No to the MSN Messenger... How about ICQ? You can send messages to us on AIM via ICQ. P.S. I don't know much about databases at this time in my life. Just barely getting to know PHP. :Juggle: |

![]() Create an DB and do an Import. Sometimes theres # signs that make the import a pain. Does your old host have Cpanel? if so.. try a Cpanel backup and restore.. That tends to work pretty good ![]()
