DNS correspond

My hosting account at SurPass has finally been created, although I am not quite sure about one detail in the email.

"Double check that the DNS corresponds with the DNS listed below.
ns1014.dizinc.com 72.29.87.118
ns1015.dizinc.com 72.29.87.119 "

The domain I have is a .nu one, I asked the support, where I registered it, how I edit the DNS, but when I go to nunames.com and edits it,
there are two fields that I can fill in.

One with the DNS and one for the IP, how do I double check that the "DNS corresponds with the DNS"? And should I fill in the IP at nunames.com as well? I've already edited so that the nameservers are right.

I searched but I couldnt really find anything..

All it means is to make sure you change the DNS at nunames.com. So people register for hosting, but forget to change the DNS on their domain (maybe they think it'll be done automatically because they entered a domain during registration?), which means their domain isn't pointing towards their hosting. It sounds like you already have "double checked" that you've added the DNS.

You should be able to add two DNS, it's the minimum that's usually recommended... if not, I would ask the admins over at nunames.com for clarification.

You can add the IP, it points to the same place as the corresponding nameserver. But it's not neccessary to do so, it should work without it.

I could add up to 5 DNS actually
I have added both of the DNS and I hope that it will work without adding the IP... beacuse editing the DNS wasn't free.

I hate companies who charge you to edit your own domain.

So do I, it would have been free of charge if I would have edited it 72 hours after registration though.

Edit
I was just about to subscribe to surpass hosting notifications, but I can't find the server I'm on.. hmm..

You don't have to add the IP, adding just the names of the primary and secondary DNS is fine.

Did you put your domain name or the IP from the welcome email (72.29.87.117) in the search box on,

Okay, glad that's sorted out

Yes, at first I used the IP, but now when I tried with my domain name the server name SH96 came up so that must be it then?
Altough, that server has a different IP than the ones I got in my email..

Main IP: 72.29.87.117

72.29.87.117/cpanel

Go with the DNS pair:
72.29.87.118
72.29.87.119
