Looks like I blew it.

I just signed up with Surpass and will be transferring my web site from CCL hosting over to Surpass. I changed the DNS info already which was probably a mistake. Plus...although CCL uses Cpanel I received an email (quick response BTW) from Surpass tech support (John) and he said that when he logged into my CCL Cpanel (I gave him my username and password) that CCL's Cpanel won't allow such transfers. He asked me to "have CCL backup all my files on their server so they could be transfered to Surpass. I sent an urgent message to CCL this morning and have yet to hear from them. They usually respond quickly to trouble tickets. The fact that I have yet to hear from them is not a good sign. Plus...John changed my Surpass Cpanel login and I can't get on that either. I hope this turns out OK soon. I hate having my site down.

Any thoughts?

How big is your account? If it's not too big, here is what you should do. Log into your CCL cpanel account and do a full cpanel backup. Then, go to file manager and copy it into a readable directory in the public_html area. Let support know where it is so they can download that copy and install it.

If you need to, you can change the DNS back until your account is setup.

Thank you so much for your quick response.

In CCL's Cpanel with regards to the size or my web site it states the following:

Disk usage 114.43 Megabytes

SQL Disk usage 2.47 Megabytes

Is that too big an operation?

I have 200mb if space. I think the backup may go over the limit.

Heck I'll try it anyway.

Here are two screencaps of the cpanel just before I hit the "Generate Backup". Will this
work?

They should be able to move the site off of that. Hope it works.

Big News!!! The transfer went through without a hitch. Surpass has Surpassed my expectations. They really ARE as great as everyone says. The first thing I noticed was the blazing fast speed of my web site compared to my old host.

I am very, very happy about this.

Thank you all for your quick and friendly responses and thank you Surpass!
