Game Hosting

Hi there

Just recently purchased one of your servers on sale the main aim being gaining a significant amount of experience dealing with a server. Im looking for a guide on the basics how to get a game setup for hosting. Excuse the ignorance i am officially a beginner hopefully not for long

what game are you looking to be hosting... we are going to need a little bit more information from you.

Im thinking maybe along the lines of day of defeat or counter strike

well first you need to decide what game you want to go with. Then what I would do first is research what you need to do through the game's forum/ guides. The best information is going to come from the source, and you're only going to learn if you do the research. We can help out with some of the issues you have along the way but we won't know the answers off-hand without having consulted the games setup guides.
