I used to use coreFTP, but it started giving me weird errors. It took a bit to get used to, but now I use FileZilla for pretty much everything

so dew do you recommend it.... i have it installed but, never use it... just was using that old WS_FTP95 LE all of the time.. but, realized tonight that it wont let me back up certain files like vti ones.... filezilla does it fine tho.
and, iv checked the settings all ok.. [confused]

I used to use core as well, and batchftp but went back to WS_FTP until recently when it started acting stupid. It continues to refresh me back to the root of the account everytime I do anything (upload, create a directory, delete a file, anything...it's irritating).

im a filezilla addict. They update and improve it constantly. I find that I turn around and they have a new version out...

yeah you'r right big john... i havent been using filezilla in a but but, noticed they had a new one out.. so now im running their latest version. Funny how rumors spread and, heard that it was unsafe to use it.

People say bad things about everything... Like come on, people say Internet Explorer is insecure. It's built-in to the OS! It has to be ultra secure or else really bad exploits could occur. You know, like infecting computers with malware or crashing them.

IE is not bad really just maybe not good or solid enough for making back-ups of databases ..
