Question perl interpreter available?

Hi everyone,

I've had surpass for 2 years, and I'm giving a friend some space to make an automatic registry for an event he is having. He wants to use perl to send out mail - He wants to use"formmail perl script to have a registration page automatically send an e-mail" to him, and apparently needs to location of my perl interpreter to do this. Does the power package come with a perl interpreter installed, or would I need to install one? Thanks to anyone who can help!

PS. I am on serenity, if that helps at all.

#!/usr/bin/perl is usually the path, IIRC.

As mike said... but using PHP to send email is even easier.

I am Mike (one of many in Canada). I didn't post about it in this thread, but I may have in another. There's no problem with using perl... I just know it's easy as Mac&Cheese in PHP. But it's also easy in ASP.

Yeah. Perl = get a sendmail script... PHP = "can you type one line of code?"!

That's almost the first thing I learned in PHP.
