I purchased the BOGO deal for June, and I got my first account all set up in the first few days of July, got my domain moved over. Everything was all tickety boo. So 2 days ago I start with the second site, got all registered, started with the changing the nameservers for the second domain. BUt now all of a sudden I cant see my first site. Now it shows the stupid under construction page from Yahoo( it was them I bought the domain name from). Now here is what I dont get... up until the morning of the 24th...i could see it, and use it and update it, but I had a friend online that couldnt see it, she saw the same construction page, next morning I wake up and poof...I cant see my site anymore either..I contacted yahoo yesterday, and the girl there could still see the flash site I have set up, plus a few other friends of mine could still see it as of last night..so WTH? why cant i? I figured it was a DNS server recycling thing...but I would have thought that everyones would have recyled by now...and that if thats what was going they woulndt be able to see it either...any anyhoooo....I have no clue what I did to it, to make this yahoo page come back...

I still have complete access to it thru my ftp log in, and in fact I did some updating and my friend was confirming the things I was updating...

When they sent me the info for the second domain name..the nameserver info was the same as my first site, and the IP addy for the ftp log in was also the same, of course the username and PW are different

...Im so sorry to sound so dumb...Im just totally at a loss of what I did...and what I can do to fix this...

its all about DNS propagation... takes time.... usually stablizes after a day or so.

ok so now its not working again...so why can I see it first thing in the AM..and not now?....phew..so much to learn...

Give it time! Sometimes you will have a little bounce back and forth. I had a domain do that for 2 days once.

Your ISP uses more than 1 nameserver. They do not update necessarily at the same time.
