www.whatever.com will start in the public_html directory that you see when using FTP.

If you still see the old site, your nameservers for the domain either have not been changed or not enough time has elapsed for your ISP to get the change.

You can view the new site by using http://the.new.IP.number/~yourusername/ until the nameservers have caught up.

If you give us the site URL when asking a question like this, it allows us to let you know if we see it OK.

INTERCESSION-MUSIC.COM whois is pointing to
Name Server: NS650.DIZINC.COM
Name Server: NS649.DIZINC.COM
and pings to sh61.surpasshosting.com 72.29.74.91

Browser to http://intercession-music.com redirects to: http://72.29.74.91/~interce/

Why and where do you have that redirect?

I think you should also clear your browser cache.

Delete Temporary Internet Files and Cookies under Internet Options. Alternate option is Press Ctrl+F5 on whichever browser your using - IE/Mozilla.

Because when you visit a website often it gets saved on your computer also called as it gets cached in your computer. So maybe the site is updated but your seeing the old website still due to cache issue's.

well, it should be just go to www.intercession-music.com but it's not working, however it did work with the http://ipaddress/~username/ then i saw an option to redirect in the CPanel but the redirect was for http://intercession-music.com (no www.) so i just redirected that to the IP address....i WOULD like to get it going with the www. site tho, just confused now more than ever.

patience... patience.

DNS propagation takes time - sometimes as much as 72 hours. DO NOT make REDIRECTIONS for your root domain! This is a bad idea and can really mess up DNS.

The site loads for me, does not seem to be flash. Page source has a ton of javascript.
